Mentorship is a huge part of any industry, but especially broadcasting. In this ever-changing landscape, I love nothing more than chatting with students and peers about my journey. I'll love offering my thoughts on the current state of the media landscape, give demo critiques, and surrender any advice for those who wish to get started in their career or, for those already in the business, advance. I've been so fortunate to speak with students at the University of Memphis, Johnson & Wales University, Sports Biz Careers and Ashland University. In addition, I've served as a mentor through The Clubhouse, since 2023. The Clubhouse mentorship program connects students with industry professionals for 1:1 coaching calls and lasting relationships through their schooling and into their careers. 

Outside of broadcasting, I'm a proud dog-foster alongside my wife, Sarah. Together, we've welcomed 80+ pups into our home and helped them find loving forever homes.

Growing up, I saw firsthand how hard the foster care system can be on children whose paths have brought them into care. I learned the value of giving back thanks to my parents, who served as foster parents despite having a son of their own (me). With that in mind, I'm a staunch supporter of One Simple Wish, a non-profit organization which connects donors directly to those in foster care, or who've been affected by life in foster care. Behind each wish is a real human with a real story, and I'm grateful to be able to support.
